1099 Independent Contractor
Want the freedom of private practice without having to build every system from scratch? Blue Phoenix Therapy is seeking an independently licensed New Mexico therapist who wants flexibility, autonomy, and room to build a caseload that fits their life and clinical interests. Clinicians may be located anywhere in New Mexico and may provide telehealth-only services, in-person services in Rio Rancho, or a combination of both.
• Set your own schedule and caseload
• Choose the populations you work with
• Develop your own specialties and clinical focus
• Provide in-person therapy in Rio Rancho, telehealth throughout New Mexico, or both
• Build gradually with no minimum caseload requirement
• Receive billing, credentialing, and administrative support
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
$60–$70 per completed clinical session Starting rate is based on experience, qualifications, and relevant clinical training. Clinicians also receive 100% of applicable no-show and late-cancellation fees.
Who We’re Looking For
• Current unrestricted New Mexico LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT license
• Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
• Professional liability/malpractice insurance
• Ability to practice independently within scope of licensure
• Strong ethical and professional standards
• Timely, clinically appropriate documentation and treatment planning
We’re looking for a clinician who values independence, takes ownership of their clinical work, and wants room to develop their own professional identity within a small, supportive private-practice setting.
